Copa del Rey, second round draw

The draw took place today for the second round of the Spanish cup, with the 24 surviving second division B and third division sides being joined by 21 second division A sides (all except Real Madrid's B side Castilla). The draw was carried out in two sections, the first pairing together the lower ranked sides and the second with only the second division A sides, one of whom (Castellón) were given a bye to the third round. Matches will be played over one leg on or around 20th September. (05.09.06)
