Pre-season fixtures

More pre-season tournaments this week, the most important of which being Cádiz's Ramón de Carranza trophy. This was a first time to see Capello's Real Madrid in action in Spain, but in the end they could only draw 2-2 against Betis, and missed out on tomorrow's final in the penalty shoot out. The hosts will take on Betis for the cup after beating Villarreal, also in a penalty shoot out after a last minute 2-2 draw against Villarreal. (18.08.06)
