UEFA Cup, semi finals first leg
Schalke '04 0 - Sevilla 0
A good result for
Sevilla in the first leg of their UEFA cup semi-final, a goal-less draw
against Schalke giving them a fair chance of reaching next month's final
in Eindhoven. Some 3,500 travelling fans were in Gelsenkirchen to see their
team come away with a result which sets up a thrilling second leg next week,
although they have keeper Palop to thank for a string of fine saves throughout
the match. The German side ended with ten men after Krstajic was sent off for a
foul on Jesús Navas near the end. (20.04.06) |
