Two late goals against
Zenit gave Sevilla a big advantage for the second leg in Russia
next week. The Andalusians went ahead on the quarter hour mark when Saviola
headed home Adriano's cross, but Kerzhakov levelled the scores on the stroke of
half time. Martí restored the lead from the penalty spot ten minutes in
to the second half though after Hagen was sent off for a foul on
Kanouté, and Saviola got his second of the night eight minutes from the
end. And after the visitors were left with nine men when Arshavin was also
shown a red card, Adriano wrapped things up in injury time (30.03.06)
