Albacete beat 1-0 Sporting Gijón in a match which was rescheduled from a couple of weeks ago due to a heavy snowfall. The Manchegans took the lead on the half hour mark when Bermejo scored following a penalty after Sastre was sent off, and the striker had another effort saved late on. It was the home side's fourth win in a row, and they move up to seventh in the table as a result. (15.02.06)
