Transfer rumours

The winter transfer market officially opens next Monday, and clubs have until the end of January to make new signings. Real Madrid will be amongst the first to strengthen their squad, Cicinho already training at the Bernabeu and Cassano expected to sign this week. Betis have found two players to replace Oliveira, Tardelli and Robert both having agreed loan terms, and Villarreal have swapped unsettled right back Kromkamp with Liverpool's Josemi. Mallorca, Málaga, Racing and Cádiz have also made new signings, and Atlético Madrid and Espanyol are expected to follow soon, with Rosicky and Pandiani in their respective sights.
