World Cup draw
Spain had what on
paper was a relatively easy draw for the World Cup finals, with matches against
Ukraine, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia in their group stage. Luis Aragonés's
side will start off against their European rivals in Leipzig, and then go on to
Stuttgart and Kaiserslauten for their next two games. If they do reach the next
stage, they will meet a team from group G, which includes France, Switzerland,
South Korea and Togo. The coach has called up 33 players for an informal get
together next week, which should form the basis for the final squad.
