Under 21 international squad

Spain's under 21 side do not have a fixture this month, but with a European qualifier coming up against Serbia at the beginning of September, Iñaki Sáez has called up 21 players for training in Madrid next week. There are first call ups for Arbeloa and Amorebieta, and the English contingent is represented by Arsenal's Cesc. (11.08.05)

Midfielders: Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Gabi (Atlético Madrid), Iniesta (Barcelona), Gavilán (Getafe), Vitolo (Racing Santander), Juanfran (Real Madrid), Héctor Font (Villarreal), Zapater (Zaragoza);
Forwards: Llorente (Athletic Bilbao), Jonathan (Espanyol), Sergio García (Zaragoza).

PS Moya, Risego, Jarque, Carlos García, .Juanfran and Jonathan have all pulled out, and have been replaced by Cuéllar (Atlético), Rubén (Barcelona), Alexis (Málaga), Ernesto (Real Madrid Castilla), Xabi Prieto (Real Sociedad) and Raúl Albiol (Valencia). (16.08.05)
