The Spanish under 21 side got their European campaign back on track with a 2-0 victory over Lithuania. The youngsters need to win all their remaining games to be sure of qualifying for next year's finals, but they found it hard work against a side who packed their defence right from the start. And it was not until just before the hour mark they broke through, Héctor Font picking up the ball on the edge of the area to round his marker and beat the keeper with an angled shot. Substitute Jonathan scored a second goal a few minutes later with a long shot over the keeper's head to wrap things up, and a win against Bosnia next Tuesday could take Spain into joint first place in the table.
