Under 17 international squad
Sevilla's Diego Capel and
Betis's Cristian Pecci have been included in the 18 man squad for the under-17
European qualifying tournament which takes place in Mallorca next week. The two
are the only surviving members of the side which finished runner up to France
in last season's edition of the championship. Juan Santiesteban has also called
up five players from Valencia and four from Real Madrid for the three games
against Denmark, Switzerland and Poland. The winners will go on to the European
Championship finals, which take place in Italy next May. The full squad is as
follows:
