Spanish international squad
Luis Aragonés has
called up no less than five uncapped players for next week's two international
games against China and Serbia Montenegro. The Spanish manager has included
Antonio López, David Navarro, Mista, Luis García and 18 year old
Sergio Ramos in a 22 man squad, and also brings back Valerón, Reyes,
Juanito and Albelda, who was suspended for the last match. Out go David Villa
and Guayre, both of whom made their first appearances against San Marino, as
well as Guti, Romero and the injured Michel Salgado. The full squad is as
follows:
Goalkeepers: Casillas
(Real Madrid), Cañizares (Valencia); Defenders: Del Horno
(Athletic Bilbao), Antonio López and Pablo (Atlético Madrid),
Puyol (Barcelona), Juanito (Betis), Sergio Ramos (Sevilla), David Navarro and
Marchena (Valencia); Midfielders: Orbaiz (Athletic Bilbao), Xavi
(Barcelona), Joaquín (Betis), Valerón (Deportivo), De la
Peña (Espanyol), Luis García (Liverpool), Albelda (Valencia);
Forwards: Reyes (Arsenal), Fernando Torres (Atlético Madrid),
Luque (Deportivo), Raúl (Real Madrid), Mista (Valencia).
The friendly match against
China will take place in Saturday in Salamanca, after which the squad travels
to Belgrade for their World Cup qualifier against Serbia the following
