Pre-season matches

The last of the major summer tournaments took place last week, with Recreativo winning their own Colombino trophy after knocking out first division sides Betis and Málaga, and Barcelona beating Espanyol in the final of the Catalonia cup. The league begins next weekend, and several clubs will be playing their last friendlies this week before they decide on their final squads. (23.08.04)
