Quarter finals, first leg

The draw for the quarter finals threw together the top two teams in the league, Valencia and Real Madrid. Alavés are the only second division side to survive to this stage, and they will play Celta Vigo. Ties will be played over two legs on or around the 21st and 28th January. Match reports.
