Spanish
national squad
Iñaki Sáez has
made four changes to the Spanish squad which will face Greece in their first
qualifying round match of Euro 2004 on 7th September.
Baraja, Contreras,
César and Romero have all been recalled to replace Sergio, Aranzabal,
Ricardo and Juanito. The four newly capped players, Orbaiz, Marchena,
García Calvo and Raúl Bravo retain their place in the
squad.
Notable absentees from the
side are Cañizares and Diego Tristán, who is still nursing an
injury. Iván Helguera, who did not play agaist Hungary because of an
injury, is now fit.
