Semi-finals

With most big clubs out of the competition, holders Deportivo Coruña are favourites to win the title again. However they were drawn against Mallorca, who will be no push over. There will certainly be one new finalist though, as the other semi-final is between Recreativo Huelva and Osasuna, neither of whom have reached that stage before. Second leg matches played on 5 March (teams qualified in bold). Mallorca will play Recreativo Huelva in the final on 28th June. The proposed venue is Bernabeu stadium in Madrid, but Mallorca are keen to play at Valencia instead. Detailed reports.:
