Spain beat Portugal in a friendly match in Portugal tonight. The game was a build up to the European championship qualifying games against Austria and France at the end of the month, and allowed Iñaki Saez to try out several players. The goals came from Xavi and Jusué in each half. Mallorca's Fredy and ex Atlético midfielder Hugo Leal were in the Portuguese side.
