Spain repeated their score of three days ago against Armenia and now only need a point to qualify for the next stage of the European Championships. The star of the match was the Las Palmas youngster Carmelo who scored three goals, with Barcelona's Sergio, Espanyol's Ceballos and Sevilla's Marcos getting the others with only an hour on the clock. The fourth and final match of the qualifying group is against Switzerland in Lausanne on 7th November, and a draw will be enough to take them to a two leg play off with Macedonia. (26.10.01)
