The draw for the second
round of the UEFA cup paired together Celta Vigo with Red Star Belgrade, with
the first leg due to take place in the Yugoslavian capital on 26th October and
the return leg in Spain on 9th November. With the current unrest in Yugoslavia,
Celta will appeal for the tie to take place in a neutral country. The other
three Spanish clubs were drawn against relatively unknown opposition, with
Alavés away against Norway's Lillestrom in the first leg, and Espanyol
and Rayo Vallecano at home to Denmark's Viborg and Austria's Grazer
respectively (29.9.00) |
